GCB Cocoa UK is a Chocolate and Cocoa processor based in Suffolk who are currently seeking enthusiastic and reliable Warehouse Operators to support the ongoing growth of our new chocolate production facility. Phase 2 of our build is due to come online at the end of this year, increasing our Warehouse and handling of raw materials and finished products significantly.

You will be working as part of a small Logistics & Warehouse team, so willingness to be flexible to support your colleagues in their work and meet the needs of the business is key.

Essential skills and experiences:

Forklift Driving Licence and experienced in driving forklift trucks The ability to follow written instructions, quality and safety standards The ability to communicate with colleagues at all levels and confidence to escalate any issues to ensure quality and safety Computer literate - able to input data into our systems and maintain accurate records Conscientious with strong attention to detail Experience of making suggestions to improve systems, processes and ways of working A passion for chocolate!

Desirable:

Experience of working in the food industry with a Food Hygiene / Safety qualification.

In this role you will:

Carry out warehousing tasks including order picking, storage allocation and record keeping Carry out dispatch duties including consolidating finished goods for daily loads Take responsibility for ensuring goods are checked in and out using the ERP system Replenishing stock throughout the day, and assisting with stock checks. Maintain good standards of housekeeping in line with BRC Food Safety and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards

Working Pattern:

Monday - Friday 08.00 - 17.00 to start / while training

This role will move to a rotating shift pattern (Monday - Friday, 08.00 - 17.00 for 2 weeks in 3; and 16.30 - 01.30 for 1 week in 3) in the next 1-2 months - this will be discussed with you at interview. Shift work will attract an additional shift allowance payment of 150 per month.
