As a Warehouse Operative you will be receiving, storing and dispatching goods and products in a warehouse. You will need to ensure that orders are shipped to customers OTIF and without damage, whilst keeping all other duties running.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Picking and packing of customer orders (picking, final finish, packaging, checking, loading and administration).
Handle 'goods in' (unloading, checking, storing and administration) from suppliers.
Production of samples in a timely manner in line with customer requirements.
Forklift, Counterbalance, Reach & Pallet Pedestrian Truck operation under the correct and safe working guidelines.
Ensuring that all equipment is safe and in full working order and any issues are reported to the warehouse manager as soon as possible.
Operating the tint machine under the correct and safe working guidelines.
Ensuring that all goods that are loaded / unloaded match the relevant paperwork.
Storing and rotating stock according to Company procedures.
Reporting and damaged or missing goods to the Warehouse Manager and Warehouse Supervisor.
Keeping the warehouse environment clean, tidy and maintaining equipment (forklift, tinting machine, mixers and packing equipment).
Keeping the outside area around the office and warehouse area neat, tidy and weed free.
Follow workplace Health & Safety rules when handling goods.
Ensuring efficient operations by adhering to operational procedures, rules and schedules.
Assisting with warehouse inventory controls.
Always treating stock with care and concern.
Doing visual inspections of all racking to ensure faults are reported to the Warehouse Manager or Warehouse Supervisor so they can be repaired in a timely manner.
Assisting customers to load / unload orders onto their delivery vehicles.
Any other tasks as directed by management.
Deliverables:
Timely and accurate picking / packing and dispatching customer orders is sent on time in full with a 98% accuracy.
Inventory stock rotations to ensure no stocks goes out of date.
Stock management is maintained with a 99% accuracy.
Warehouse Health & Safety is always up standard.
All warehouse equipment is serviced, kept clean and in working order.
Team player with a core focus on promoting a positive and friendly environment.
Qualifications / Experience:
GCSE Math's and English
Right to Work in the UK
Interpersonal skills - the ability to work well in a team.
Experienced with a good understanding of warehouse activities in a fast-paced environment.
Working collaboratively with other departments ensuring all orders are completed to a high standard.
Good timekeeper and able to work under pressure and to deadlines.
A flexible and enthusiastic approach to work.
Good communication skills.
Able to work quickly, accurately and safely.
Valid certificate for Counterbalance Forklift, Reach Truck & Pump Truck is desirable.
