Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by performing various tasks related to the handling, storage, and distribution of goods. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency.

Normal working hours will be;

Monday 6am-12pm, Tuesday- Friday 7am - 1pm

There may be occasions where additional working hours are required to meet business demands.

FLT and Driving Licence essential

Responsibilities

Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory and manage stock levels. Replenish consumable items to maintain stock levels Palletising goods ready for daily and weekly collections by our installers Unload goods from lorries, ensuring that items are handled safely and efficiently. Verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders. Ensure proper storage and organisation of products within the warehouse. Collecting orders from suppliers Occasionally delivering goods to customer sites Engage in heavy lifting as required, adhering to safety protocols to prevent injury. Segregating waste in line with company environmental policies Maintain a clean and organised work environment, both inside the warehouse and the yard, following all health and safety regulations.

Skills

Previous warehouse experience is highly desirable. Proficiency in using warehouse management systems for inventory tracking. Ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently (certification required). Basic math skills for accurate inventory management and record keeping. Capable of performing heavy lifting tasks consistently throughout the shift.
