Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Operative to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of warehouse operations and demonstrate proficiency in materials handling, shipping and receiving, and equipment repair. This role requires physical stamina and the ability to perform heavy lifting, ensuring efficient management of warehouse tasks.

Responsibilities

Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory and manage stock levels Load and unload goods from lorries and freezers, ensuring safe handling and storage Perform shipping and receiving duties, verifying quantities and quality of incoming and outgoing products Utilise forklifts for moving heavy items safely within the warehouse Maintain an organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations Assist in inventory counts and ensure accurate record keeping and reporting Collaborate with team members to meet operational goals efficiently

Requirements

Previous warehouse experience is highly desirable Familiarity with warehouse management systems is an advantage Ability to perform materials handling tasks effectively Competence in operating forklifts safely (certification preferred) Strong physical capability to perform heavy lifting as required Basic mathematical skills for inventory management and record keeping A proactive attitude towards teamwork and problem-solving

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 13.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
