PRS (Phillips Reed Services Ltd) Imports and distributes building materials. We a specialise in sheet materials such as plywood.
Role Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse Operative who can operate a forklift and assist with administrative tasks. This role combines hands-on warehouse duties with light office responsibilities. You will be working in a small team, where you may be expected to carry out different tasks, on a daily basis.
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate a forklift to load, unload, and move goods within the warehouse.
Unloading of Cargo Containers.
Check, and organise stock accurately.
Assist with basic administrative duties such as booking and dispatching goods.
Painting/priming of Plywood, or other sheet materials.
You may be asked to make deliveries on occasions, with a van.
Ensure compliance with health and safety standards at all times.
Requirements:
Valid forklift license and proven experience operating forklifts. B2 license is required, internal training available for anyone with B1.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office or similar).
Ability to work with others in a small team.
Physical ability to handle warehouse tasks.
Benefits:
12.21 per hour.
8:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
