Summary
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Warehouse Worker to join our team in the Cambridge area. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse, supporting our mission to deliver quality roofing supplies efficiently. Based in the local area, you will contribute to our ongoing growth and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Manage inventory using warehouse management systems to ensure accurate stock levels.
Load and unload materials safely and efficiently.
Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment with proper training.
Handle materials carefully, supporting the logistics of shipping and receiving.
Assist in equipment checks, maintenance and repairs as needed.
Maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment.
Support team members in daily operations to meet delivery deadlines.
Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
Verifying paperwork accompanying supplier deliveries is correct
Processing customer returns
Skills & Experience
Proven experience in warehouse operations or logistics.
Valid forklift license or certification.
Strong physical ability for heavy lifting and manual handling.
Good understanding of warehouse management systems.
Mechanical knowledge or experience with equipment repair is a plus.
Basic math skills for inventory counting and documentation.
Good command of both spoken and written English
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
