We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by handling various tasks related to inventory management, shipping, and receiving. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory levels and orders. Load and unload goods from lorries, ensuring safe handling and proper placement. Assist in shipping and receiving processes, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation. Conduct materials handling tasks, including sorting, packing, and storing items efficiently. Perform equipment repairs as needed to maintain operational efficiency. Carry out heavy lifting tasks as required, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the warehouse environment.

Skills

Strong skills in materials handling and knowledge of safe lifting techniques. Forklift certification is essential. Previous warehouse experience is highly desirable. Competent in basic maths for accurate inventory management and order processing. Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout the shift. This role is essential for maintaining operational flow within our warehouse, ensuring that all processes run smoothly from receipt of goods through to dispatch.
