Warehouse Operative/Forklift Driver

We are looking for a highly motivated and proactive Warehouse Operative to join our fast-paced warehouse operation based at Embleton.

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, this role is essential in supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the warehouse.

You will be involved in goods-in, stock control, and replenishment, ensuring stock is handled accurately, stored correctly and maintained to high operational standards. This is a hands-on, physically active role where workload can vary depending on deliveries and stock volumes, so a flexible and focused approach is key.

Responsibilities

Dealing with deliveries at goods-in Receiving, checking and booking stock into the warehouse management system Replenishing stock of all shapes and sizes throughout the warehouse Locating, moving and managing stock efficiently Using warehouse handling equipment Maintaining high standards of operation, safety and cleanliness in all storage areas Supporting overall warehouse operations as required

Requirements

Reliable, punctual and able to work independently and as part of a team Flexible and comfortable working in a fast-changing environment Organised, accurate and detail-focused Comfortable with systems-based work Experience in a busy stock, warehouse, or dispatch environment is an advantage, but not essential Willingness to be forklift trained
Full training will be provided on products, procedures, systems, and equipment.

Shift Times: 06.30 - 15.00 (40hrs per week).
