About the Role
As a
Warehouse Operative
, you'll play a vital part in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our warehouse operations. From checking deliveries and picking orders to loading, unloading and maintaining accurate stock levels, you will help keep our products moving seamlessly through the supply chain. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys practical, active work and takes pride in maintaining high standards of organisation and accuracy.

: Monday to Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm (40 hours per week, including a 30-minute unpaid lunch break)

: 12.50 per hour

: Mercury House in Droitwich
Key Responsibilities
Receive and check deliveries, reporting any shortages or damages immediately.
Accurately pick orders for dispatch, ensuring all items are correct and ready for loading.
Load and unload vehicles using a forklift truck (where qualified).
Store goods safely and neatly, maintaining clear identification and proper locations.
Conduct stock checks and assist with monthly and annual stocktakes.
Carry out pre-delivery inspections to ensure products are in full working order.
Complete all paperwork accurately for goods leaving or returning to site.
Maintain excellent housekeeping across all warehouse areas.
Work safely at all times and follow company health and safety procedures.
Support team members and identify opportunities to improve efficiency.
What We're Looking For
Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment (preferred but not essential).
Valid forklift licence or willingness to undertake training.
Ability to handle and move goods safely.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good communication skills and a positive, team-focused attitude.
Reliable, punctual, and motivated with a strong work ethic.
Awareness of health and safety in a warehouse setting.
