We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Worker with Forklift Licence to join our client's team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing materials, operating warehouse equipment, and ensuring the smooth flow of goods within the facility. Responsibilities
Load and unload goods efficiently, ensuring accurate handling of materials
Operate forklift trucks and other warehouse machinery safely and effectively
Manage inventory using warehouse management systems to track stock levels and locations
Perform basic maintenance and repair of equipment as needed to ensure operational safety
Handle materials with care, adhering to safety protocols and procedures
Assist with shipping and receiving processes, including documentation and packaging
Organise storage areas to optimise space utilisation and accessibility
Conduct regular stock checks and report discrepancies promptly
Support team members in daily warehouse operations to meet productivity targets
Requirements
Proven experience working in a warehouse environment, with knowledge of warehouse management systems
Ability to operate forklift trucks; valid certificates are required
Clean Driving Licence
Mechanical knowledge or experience with equipment repair is advantageous
Strong skills in materials handling, including heavy lifting and organisation of stock
Basic maths skills for inventory counts, measurements, and documentation accuracy
Familiarity with shipping & receiving procedures and documentation requirements
Physical fitness to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods
Good organisational skills with attention to detail and safety standards
