Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for various logistical and operational tasks within our warehouse environment. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in materials handling, equipment operation, and warehouse management systems, contributing to the smooth and efficient functioning of our supply chain processes.

Our new warehouse at Stakehill Industrial Estate, Middleton provides Charles and Ivy the structure required to grow our range and reach to the UK market sector. This new warehouse is soon going live and we seek professional warehouse personnel to help us main efficient and effective operational output.

Duties

Load and unload goods safely and efficiently, ensuring accurate handling of materials. Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, adhering to safety protocols and mechanical procedures. Manage inventory using warehouse management systems, maintaining accurate records of stock movements. Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including preparing orders for dispatch and receipt of incoming deliveries. Handle materials with care, ensuring proper storage and organisation within the warehouse. Conduct regular stock checks and assist in cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy. Support team members in maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment. Picking and Packing customer orders using WMS system (training provided)

Requirements

Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred Familiarity with warehouse management systems is advantageous. Ability to handle heavy lifting safely and efficiently. Basic maths skills for inventory counts and order processing. Valid Fork lift truck licence (counter balance) Valid REACH truck licence (2yrs experience min) Strong organisational skills with attention to detail. Good physical fitness and stamina to work in a physically demanding environment. Reliable team player with a proactive attitude towards safety and quality standards. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.21-13.25 per hour

Expected hours: 42.50 per week
