Job Title: Warehouse Operative & Forklift Driver

Pay Rates:

Warehouse Operative: From 12.21 per hour (minimum rate - may increase based on experience)

Forklift Driver: From 15.00 per hour

H&D Recruitment is currently hiring reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operatives and Forklift Drivers for one of our leading clients based in Milton Keynes (MK43). This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and well-structured warehouse team offering consistent hours and a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Receiving and Inspecting Goods: Verify deliveries against shipping documents, check for damages or discrepancies, and ensure accurate quantities.
Storing and Organising Stock: Place items in designated locations, maintain accurate stock records, and ensure proper storage conditions.
Picking and Packing Orders: Select items from inventory based on customer orders, prepare them for shipment, and ensure secure packaging.
Loading and Unloading: Operate appropriate equipment (e.g., Forklifts - Counterbalance, Reach, Pallet Trucks) to move goods and load/unload vehicles safely.
Maintaining Warehouse Cleanliness and Safety: Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and safe, following all health and safety regulations and reporting any hazards.
Inventory Management: Assist with stock counts, identify discrepancies, and contribute to efficient stock control.
Paperwork and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of goods received, dispatched, and stored.
Skills and Attributes:

Physically fit and able to lift/carry items and stand for long periods
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong organisation and time management skills
Team player with good communication skills
Basic computer literacy (advantageous)
Strong safety awareness and adherence to warehouse regulations
Licence/Certification:

Valid Forklift Licence (required for Forklift Driver role)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract, Graduate

Pay: 12.21-15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 - 48 per week
