GCB Cocoa UK is a Chocolate and Cocoa processor based in Suffolk who are currently seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Warehouse Operator to support the ongoing growth of our new chocolate production facility.

The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated team player who carries out their duties to a high standard with confidence, honesty, and passion.

You will be working as part of a small Logistics & Warehouse team, so willingness to be flexible to support your colleagues in their work and meet the needs of the business is key.

Essential skills and experiences:

Forklift Driving Licence and experienced in driving forklift trucks The ability to follow written instructions, quality and safety standards The ability to communicate with colleagues at all levels and confidence to escalate any issues to ensure quality and safety Computer literate - able to input data into our systems and maintain accurate records Conscientious with strong attention to detail A passion for chocolate!

Desirable:

Experience of working in the food industry with a Food Hygiene / Safety qualification.

In this role you will:

Carry out warehousing tasks including order picking, storage allocation and record keeping Carry out dispatch duties including consolidating finished goods for daily loads Take responsibility for ensuring goods are checked in and out using the ERP system Replenishing stock throughout the day, and assisting with stock checks. Maintain good standards of housekeeping in line with BRC Food Safety and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) standards

Working Pattern:

Monday - Friday 08.00 - 17.00 to start / while training

This role is likely to move to a rotating shift pattern (either double-days, or inclusive of a night shift) in the next 3-6 months - this will be discussed with you at interview. Shift work will attract and additional shift allowance payment.
