Hague Group has a new opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Operative to come and join a small team. You'll be based at our warehousing facility a short drive from junction 31 of the M62 (WF6 1GY). Onsite parking is available.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
In addition to
having a full UK driving license and counterbalance forklift truck operator license
, you'll have the following experience:
Recent warehouse operative experience
Recent counterbalance forklift truck operation experience
IT literate and able to use email - Outlook
Delivery driving experience (preferred but not essential)
A trustworthy and reliable individual, you demonstrate a flexible approach to work, a superb, 'can do' customer service attitude and great teamworking ability.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
Your responsibilities will include the following:
Loading and unloading of vehicles - this could be by hand or using a pallet truck or forklift truck.
Assisting with the checking in of stock.
Sorting and placing goods received into the correct storage area within the warehouse.
Picking stock.
Ensuring goods are packaged and labelled correctly.
Producing dispatch labels using a computer.
Taking part in stock counts.
Undertaking housekeeping activities in order to help ensure that the warehouse is kept clean and tidy.
You may also need to deliver goods to client sites using our van (generally short-middle distance), ensuring that a friendly and professional demeanour is demonstrated.

WORK DAYS AND HOURS:
36 hours / week.
Monday - Thursday: 7.5 hours daily worked between 8:30am and 5:30pm (subject to the shift you are allocated to). Friday: 8:30am - 3:00pm.
