The Successful Candidate:

Experience Counter-Balance and Reach Truck Operator. Team Player with experience of Warehouse.

Physically Fit, Hand-balling and Manual Labour

Attentive and Organised with a keen eye for detail. Committed and Driven to develop and grow with the company.

Counterbalance and Reach Truck training offered to the right candidate after successful probation.

Main Duties:

Often working within a state of the art -22

C Freezer coldstore
Receiving, moving and checking and storing incoming goods in line with Food Hygiene and Health and Safety standards Checking and inspecting goods received ensuring they are of accurate quantity, type and quality Packaging and labelling products (where applicable) before dispatch Picking and Packing products Selecting space for storage and arranging for goods to be placed in the designated areas. Preparation of deliveries Loading and unloading of vans and lorries as required Maintaining and servicing Warehouse machines/Forklift Truck and equipment in line with individual competence and manufacturer's instructions. Safe Operation of Forklift Truck Safe moving and organising of stock Ensuring warehouse is maintained in a clean and organised manner Storing stock away safely and in line with stock rotation requirements Monitoring of stock levels Wearing of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment at all times as instructed Accurate completion of paperwork/input into company's stock computer system as required Always observes business etiquette and confidentiality. To be aware of and to observe Company's policies and procedures including Health and Safety. The job holder will attend training courses, Company meetings and other team events as required. The job holder will carry out such other reasonable tasks that may from time to time be allocated.
