Job Description

Due to growth, we're looking for a reliable

Warehouse Operative / Relief Driver

to join our team. This is a warehouse?first role where you'll play a vital part in keeping operations running smoothly and efficiently, while also stepping in to cover driving duties for sickness and holidays.

Key Accountabilities



Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders accurately Receive, check, and put away incoming stock (Goods In), reporting any discrepancies Load and unload vehicles, ensuring goods are secure and handled with care Maintain accurate paperwork, delivery notes, and stock documentation Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and compliant with health & safety standards Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet trucks, forklifts - if licensed) safely and responsibly Work closely with the warehouse and counter team to ensure smooth daily operations Provide relief driving support when required, ensuring safe and professional deliveries to customers Deliver excellent customer service when representing the company on the road

Key Competencies



Strong customer service approach and a professional attitude Good communication and teamwork abilities Reliable, punctual, and able to work with minimal supervision High attention to detail in order picking and paperwork Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks Ability to prioritise tasks and work well in a fast?paced environment Safe and responsible driving skills

Experience/Qualifications



Full UK driving licence (essential) Experience in a warehouse (essential), delivery, or trade environment preferred Forklift licence (counterbalance or reach) desirable but not essential (training provided) Basic numeracy, literacy, and computer skills
