Job Summary



We are seeking a diligent, hard working and organised

Warehouse Operative

to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing stock, maintaining a clean and safe warehouse, and ensuring all parcels are shipped on time.

Key Responsibilities

Stock Preparation

:

Accurately pick, pack, and prepare stock for shipments according to customer orders. Check inventory levels and report discrepancies to the warehouse supervisor. Organise stock efficiently to ensure easy access and accurate order fulfillment.

Warehouse Maintenance

:

Keep the warehouse clean, tidy, and organised, including sweeping floors, disposing of waste, and maintaining equipment.

Timely Parcel Shipments

:

Prepare and label parcels for dispatch, ensuring accuracy and compliance with courier requirements (e.g., Royal Mail Tracked24). Work with the team to meet daily shipping deadlines, prioritizing urgent orders to ensure on-time delivery. Assist in loading/unloading deliveries and coordinating with couriers.

Additional Duties

:

Support inventory audits and stock counts as needed. Communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors to maintain smooth operations. Report any issues (e.g., damaged goods, delays) promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications and Skills



Basic English understanding. Basic numeracy and literacy skills to handle inventory and labelling tasks. Physical fitness to lift and move stock (up to 25kg) and stand for extended periods. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines. Right to work in the UK (proof required, e.g., passport, visa).

Desirable

:

Previous warehouse or logistics experience (e.g., picking, packing, or shipping). Driving licence+ car owner Team-oriented mindset with good communication skills.
Working Hours

12 hours a week, 11:30-15:30, 3 Days a week, there are 2 shifts, one week you will work Monday, Wednesday and Friday and the week after Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday. Sometimes you might work a few extra hours during the week or on weekend. Bank holidays are normal working days for us.

Competitive hourly pay (14/hour)
Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract
