will play a key role in the day-to-day running of warehouse operations, ensuring that goods are received, stored, and dispatched accurately and efficiently. You'll be part of a fast-paced environment where attention to detail, teamwork, and reliability are essential. What You'll be Doing
Receiving & Inspection:
Unload deliveries, check for accuracy and quality of goods, and report any discrepancies or damages.
Order Picking & Packing:
Accurately pick items according to order specifications and securely pack them for dispatch.
Stock Management:
Organise and store inventory in the correct locations. Conduct regular stock checks and assist with inventory control.
Dispatch & Loading:
Prepare and label shipments, load goods onto vehicles safely and in line with delivery schedules.
Health & Safety Compliance:
Adhere to all health and safety guidelines, maintain a clean and organized work area, and use equipment responsibly.
Equipment Handling:
Operate warehouse tools and machinery such as pallet jacks, forklifts (if trained), and barcode scanners.
Documentation & Reporting:
Complete relevant paperwork and digital records accurately, including delivery notes, stock movements, and inventory updates.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with colleagues across departments to meet daily targets and improve warehouse efficiency. Work alongside an assembly team to close out any snags that are highlighted (paint touch ups, torque marking, minor quality issues).
