Due to an increase in demand, and our expansion plans, we are seeking a multi- talented team member to join our operations crew in the Warehouse Department.
What you will be doing:
Quality checking of incoming manufactured product & materials
Supporting with inventory & stock takes, updating online stock sheets, where required
Operating machinery to produce recycled plastic materials ready for production: Operating the material shredder - to re-cycle materials, operating the blending mixer - to create materials for production, operating the granulating machine - to re-cycle materials for production
Ensuring materials/packaging etc. for daily production plans are at POU
Packing orders, as required
Carrying out habitual housekeeping
Hitting Warehouse targets, KPIs
Actively assisting with continual business improvement
Observe and follow company safety rules and regulations
Ability to follow strict processes and procedures
Eager to learn new skills
Who we are looking for:
2+ years experience in Warehouse environment
Fork Lift Truck experience
Day to day problem solving, with a can-do attitude
Ability to manually handle panels and products, with excellent manual dexterity.
Previous experience of working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment (min 2 years). Experience in plastics manufacturing is desirable but not essential
A quality mindset and take pride in the work you do, with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy
You will be used to working in a safety-first environment
A high energy level and target orientated
Computer literacy: Essential: MS Office (Word & Excel) (basic - intermediate level)
You must be flexible and adaptable, willing to perform other duties as and when required - we're small and not defined by our job titles
The ability to work multiple different shift patterns
A team-focussed mindset with an ability to work on your own and in small teams
An interest in the environment and recycling is essential
What we can offer:
25,343 per annum. 12.99 basic per hour for dayshift increasing to 27,243, 13.97 per hour for morning /afternoon shift, inclusive of shift allowance.
