Job Overview


Warehouse Operators are a key part of our Production team, involved in a wide variety of duties across our warehouse area which are essential to the smooth and efficient production of our high quality fire-rated doors.

Responsibilities and duties can include:



Pick and pack ironmongery, spare parts, and Enigma orders accurately and efficiently for fast dispatch. Clean and repair the temporary fire door stock as it returns to the warehouse, maintaining it to a high standard for the next customer to receive it. Prepare orders for dispatch in accordance with company procedures, ensuring deliveries are presented to customers looking excellent. Load delivery vehicles safely, ensuring the protection of our products during transit. Complete all relevant documentation accurately to maintain traceability. Work closely with the Logistics team, maintaining clear communication about dispatch schedules and handling last minute or urgent requests as needed. Receive, inspect against a drawing, and verify incoming deliveries against purchase orders and delivery notes, and have all goods put away promptly. Report and document any discrepancies or damaged goods using Selo systems. Unload and transport stock using appropriate warehouse equipment. Ensure all products and locations are labelled correctly and products are stored appropriately in the correct places. Adhere to stock rotation procedures to maintain product integrity. Work closely with the wider Production team for the timely pre-kitting of orders. Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment. Comply with health and safety regulations, including manual handling procedures. Operate warehouse management systems (WMS) for stock tracking and documentation. Support stock takes and inventory audits, submitting accurate and reliable counts. Ad-hoc duties as required to support the needs of the business.

Qualifications and Experience



A forklift license is an essential requirement of the role. Experience with combilift and reach trucks is highly desirable. Able to work in a fast moving environment with frequent dispatches. Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics role is preferred. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and moving stock. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recording stock movements. Good communication and teamwork skills. Good IT skills for stock control systems and documentation. A flexible and adaptable approach to work.

Physical and Environmental Conditions



Ability to perform heavy lifting (efforts are made to limit this as much as possible). Work is in a noisy environment (ear plugs provided).
