About the Role
We are looking for skilled, enthusiastic, and reliable
Warehouse & Packing Operatives
to join our team. This is a dual-role position, giving you the opportunity to work across both our
production packing site
and our
warehouse & distribution hub
.
A
valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence
and previous forklift operating experience are essential for this role, along with the ability to use a
Warehouse Management System (WMS)
to record, manage, and track stock accurately.
Flexibility is key - you will be scheduled to work at either site depending on business demand.
Key ResponsibilitiesPacking & Production
Pack natural pet treats accurately and efficiently, meeting daily targets.
Label, weigh, and seal products, ensuring compliance with company and food hygiene standards.
Conduct quality checks to maintain our high product standards.
Operate safely on production lines while maintaining speed and accuracy.
Support a clean, hygienic, and safe working environment at all times.
Warehouse & Distribution
Operate a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently for loading, unloading, and stock movement.
Receive, check, and safely store stock deliveries.
Accurately use the
Warehouse Management System (WMS)
to manage stock movements, receipts, dispatches, and adjustments.
Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for dispatch with accuracy.
Assist with stock rotation, inventory control, and regular stock counts using WMS tools.
Maintain a tidy, organised warehouse in line with health & safety procedures.
Skills and Experience
Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence
(essential).
Proven experience operating a forklift in a warehouse environment (essential).
Experience using a
Warehouse Management System (WMS)
for stock control (essential).
Previous warehouse or logistics experience, with some production or packing knowledge preferred.
Good attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to follow processes.
Physically fit and confident with manual handling tasks.
A positive, reliable team player with strong communication skills.
Flexibility to work across both warehouse and production sites.
Awareness of food hygiene or willingness to learn.
