BWA Logistics Ltd is seeking a reliable and self-motivated individual to join our team in a
hybrid role
that combines warehouse picking duties with occasional office-based administrative support. The successful candidate will primarily work in the warehouse, picking orders for bonded customers (beer, wines, and spirits), while also providing cover for the office team when required.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role and is willing to learn new skills.
Full training will be provided
on all aspects of the job, including order processing and warehouse systems.
Key ResponsibilitiesWarehouse Duties (Primary)
Pick and prepare orders for beer, wine, and spirits in line with customer requirements and bonded warehouse procedures.
Ensure accuracy and attention to detail when selecting and checking products.
Prepare goods for dispatch, including labelling, palletising, and assisting with loading where required.
Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organisation, and compliance with health and safety standards.
Work independently and efficiently to meet daily workload targets.
Office Duties (Secondary / Cover)
Enter customer orders accurately into the warehouse management system.
Produce pick notes, delivery notes, and other associated paperwork.
Communicate with customers and colleagues to confirm orders, delivery schedules, and documentation.
Provide general administrative support when office staff are absent or on leave.
Requirements
Reliable and trustworthy, with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
Able to work independently as well as part of a small team.
Basic computer skills (training will be provided for specific systems).
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Previous warehouse or logistics experience is an advantage but not essential.
Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks.
Training & Progression
Full training provided on all warehouse and office systems.
Pay reviewed and increased upon successful completion of training.

Starting rate:
12.75 per hour
