Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Order Picker to join our warehouse team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately selecting and preparing products for shipment, ensuring efficient warehouse operations. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and familiarity with warehouse management systems. Prior experience in materials handling, shipping and receiving, and stock management is highly desirable. The position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills within a dynamic logistics environment.

Duties

Efficiently pick orders using warehouse management system (WMS) to ensure accuracy and timeliness Handle materials safely and effectively, including heavy lifting when necessary Operate forklift trucks and other mechanical equipment following safety protocols Assist with loading and unloading goods from lorries, ensuring proper handling and documentation Conduct quality control checks on picked items to maintain high standards of accuracy Pack orders securely for dispatch, ensuring all items are correctly labelled and documented Maintain a clean and organised workspace to promote safety and efficiency Support shipping & receiving processes by maintaining accurate records of incoming and outgoing goods

Requirements

Proven experience in warehouse operations, including picking & packing, stock management, or related roles Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control procedures Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and load/unload items regularly throughout the shift Strong organisational skills with attention to detail for accurate order fulfilment Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Good understanding of materials handling safety procedures Prior experience in shipping & receiving, quality control, or warehouse management is desirable
