We have an exciting opportunity for a

Warehouse Process and Efficiency Manager

to join us based at our new site in

Northampton

. The role is a full time, permanent position working 40 hours per week Monday-Friday. As our Warehouse Process and Efficiency Manager you will beresponsible for optimizing warehouse operations to improve productivity, reduce costs, and enhance service levels.


Our

Northampton

site has capacity to store 5,000 pallets and 50,000 large appliances, providing us with the scale to turn our ambitious growth plans into reality. We have an excellent growing team here with access to the latest 2-person handling equipment.

This role will involve analysing workflows, implementing process improvements, and utilising technology to ensure efficient inventory management, order fulfilment, and labour utilisation.

Our ideal Warehouse Process and Efficiency Manager will have the following skills and experience;




Proven experience in warehouse or logistics management, ideally within white goods or large item distribution Proven track record of driving measurable improvements in warehouse performance. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving mindset and attention to detail. Strong leadership and communication skills Knowledge of manual handling and safe working practices IT literate (WMS, Excel, reporting tools)

Desirable Qualifications



5+ years of experience in warehouse operations or logistics, with a focus on efficiency and process improvement. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, Power BI, etc.). Experience with WMS and ERP systems. Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or related field (desirable). Certification in Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies is a plus (desirable).

Your key responsibilities as our Warehouse Process and Efficiency Manager will be to;



Conduct time and motion studies to identify inefficiencies. Develop and implement strategies to improve picking, packing, and shipping processes. Monitor KPIs such as order accuracy, throughput, and labour productivity. Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies. Standardise best practices across warehouse teams. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline inbound and outbound logistics. Evaluate and implement warehouse management systems (WMS) and automation tools. Train warehouse staff on new processes and systems. Foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Support workforce planning and shift optimisation.
