Location:

MM Flowers Ltd, Huntingdon Road, Chatteris, PE16 6EG

Salary:

33,500 per annum (paid monthly)

Overtime:

Paid at 20.01 per hour

Hours:

Average 40.25 hours per week

Shift Pattern:

Sunday-Wednesday (typically 6:30am - 7:00pm)

We are looking for a driven and experienced

Warehouse Section Manager

to oversee key warehouse areas - including intake, packaging, or yard - on shift. You will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, delivering on KPIs, ensuring health and safety standards are upheld, and leading a high-performing team.

This role is ideal for a confident leader who thrives in a fast-paced logistics or warehousing environment and is ready to take full ownership of their section.

What You'll Be Doing:

Leading the daily operations of the warehouse section to ensure seamless delivery of customer orders Managing team performance, planning shift cover, and leading appraisals and development Monitoring and improving KPIs, including turnaround times and pick rates Proactively addressing operational issues and escalating concerns where necessary Managing holiday rotas, absence, recruitment, and staffing levels to meet demand Preparing and submitting detailed shift reports for planning and commercial teams Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards and completing weekly safety audits Driving continuous improvement and supporting cross-functional collaboration with planning, production, and commercial teams

What We're Looking For:

Proven experience managing operations in a warehouse or production setting Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to coach and mentor Ability to plan, prioritise, and manage workload effectively in a dynamic environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work across departments Knowledge of health, safety, and GMP requirements Desirable: experience using WMS or ERP systems such as Rubicon Desirable: formal training in lean principles or health & safety (e.g., IOSH)
