Warehouse Shift Manager

Nottingham, ENG, GB, United Kingdom

Job Description

Do you love keeping operations running smoothly, solving tricky issues, and making life easier for the people around you? Are you someone who takes pride in clear communication, steady support, and building a productive environment that helps everyone do their best work?

If that sounds like you, we'd love to meet you.

Who We Are

At Wonderpack.eco, we're reshaping e-commerce fulfilment into something thoughtful, people-centred and planet-kind. We work with brilliant brands that care about quality, sustainability, and long-term partnership and our warehouse network is growing fast.

To keep everything running smoothly, we're looking for a

Warehouse Shift Manager

who can combine operational confidence with a kind, people-first approach.

The Gig

As our Warehouse Shift Manager, you'll take ownership of the pick, pack, dispatch, and shipping operation across a time-critical, fast-track operation. You'll make sure our teams are motivated, workflows are optimised, and our standards for safety and accuracy are strictly met.

You'll spend your time:

Leading daily pre-shift briefings to communicate priorities, performance updates, and safety reminders. Managing the workflow across picking, packing, goods-in, put-away, and dispatch activities. Motivating and coaching operatives, supporting multi-skilling and on-the-job training. Monitoring shift KPIs like order accuracy and timeliness, adjusting labour and workflows in real time. Upholding Health & Safety and 5S standards to ensure a safe, tidy, and compliant environment. Using WMS data and dashboards to make evidence-based decisions and resolve operational issues. Coordinating smoothly with other functions like Client Success, Delivery, and Digital Ops. Promoting colleague wellbeing and maintaining calm and clarity during busy or challenging periods.
This is a hands-on role for someone who cares about people as much as they care about achieving great operational results.

You'll Thrive in This Role If You:

Stay calm under pressure and approach challenges with a positive, can-do attitude. Have solid leadership skills with experience in warehouse supervision or logistics management. Communicate clearly and kindly, treating everyone honestly and fairly. Can manage resources and stock with accuracy and foresight. Enjoy improving things, identifying inefficiencies and suggesting smarter solutions. Are confident with technology, specifically WMS and reporting tools. Understand safety fundamentals, including manual handling and regulatory requirements. Are proactive and organised, with a keen eye for detail and company procedures. Want to be part of a values-led business where kindness and sustainability matter.

What Makes This Opportunity Special

You'll play a key role in keeping our fulfillment operation accurate, timely, and high-quality. You'll shape our team culture by embedding consistent habits and high standards. You'll work in a business that puts people first and prioritises engagement and growth. You'll collaborate with brilliant teams across the entire operations department. You'll have the freedom to improve processes and drive continuous improvement on the warehouse floor. You'll help build a safe, reliable foundation for our long-term growth.
Based in our
