Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Stock Controller to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our inventory is well-organised and readily available for Warehouse and Contract Packing departments. This position involves working in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and efficiency are paramount. This role will be responsible for managing stock levels, maintaining the cleanliness of the stock area, and assisting with shipping and receiving tasks.

Responsibilities

Monitor inbound and outbound deliveries, ensuring full completion of paperwork in an accurate and orderly manner, and supplied to the correct recipient for administration in a timely manner. Monitor inventory levels and inform relevant department for reordering stock as necessary to maintain optimal supply. Collaborate with warehouse staff to facilitate smooth shipping and receiving processes. Monitor "raw" materials and completed stock movements in conjunction with the WMS provided and resolve any queries with the Warehouse Managers. Assist in the logistics of product movement within the warehouse, ensuring timely delivery to customers. Conduct regular stock counts across sites and location audits using internal stock system. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Requirements

Previous experience in a warehouse or similar role is preferencial FLT / MHE licence is a requirement of this role (or previous experience using MHE) Familiarity with stock management systems (WMS) Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with team members. Ability to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods during shifts. A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and improving business processes related to stock management.
This role will receive a salary of 23,809.50 plus an FLT/MHE uplift (if in posession of an valid licence; we will need to see certificates as proof)
