Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Stocker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that products are efficiently stocked, organised, and available for our customers. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of logistics and supply chain processes. You will play a crucial role in maintaining inventory accuracy and optimising warehouse operations.

Responsibilities



Efficiently stock shelves and ensure products are displayed according to merchandising standards. Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with data mining to identify trends and areas for improvement. Utilise data analysis skills to support root cause analysis for inventory discrepancies. Collaborate with the logistics team to manage shipping & receiving processes effectively. Implement process improvement initiatives within the warehouse management system (WMS). Use tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and SQL to create data visualisations that aid in decision-making. Operate forklifts safely for materials handling and heavy lifting tasks as required. Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations while performing stocking duties. Assist in category management by analysing product performance and stock levels. Support retail management by ensuring optimal product availability for customers.

Qualifications



Previous warehouse experience is essential, with a strong understanding of supply chain operations. Proficiency in ERP systems, particularly AS400, is highly desirable. Strong negotiation skills to liaise with suppliers and third-party logistics (3PL) providers effectively. Familiarity with merchandising principles and retail management practices is an advantage. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to conduct thorough analysis of stock data. Experience in materials handling, including heavy lifting capabilities. Knowledge of logistics processes, including shipping & receiving protocols. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
