We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of our warehouse in Alton. This role requires regular travel to and from our Surbiton office to ensure seamless coordination between locations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all items are packed appropriately, stored correctly, and handled in accordance with safety and quality standards.



The nature of our industry is that working ad hoc additional hours, or out of normal working hours, can be expected as a normal function of this role. Paid overtime, or time in lieu, is not provided for this. The leadership team of Echo House remain committed to limiting the extent and potential impact of this, for all individuals at Echo.

Key Responsibilities




Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities including receiving, packing, storing, and dispatching goods. Ensure all items are packed securely and stored in compliance with company procedures. Conduct regular inspections to maintain inventory accuracy and warehouse cleanliness. Liaise with the Head of Logistics and Facilities to align logistics, schedules, and inventory needs. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies. Coordinate transportation and logistics for goods moving between Alton and Surbiton.

Requirements




Proven experience in warehouse supervision or logistics. Strong organizational and leadership skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to travel regularly between Alton and Surbiton. Familiarity with inventory management systems and warehouse software. Forklift certification (preferred but not essential).



Full UK driving licence. A minimum of 3 years driving experience. Common knowledge of maintaining a vehicle. Capability to drive different types of vehicles. Flexibility and willingness to travel as required. Able to work well as part of a team and help other departments if required.
