Allbart Ltd is a long-established sheet-metal manufacturing company with over 50 years of industry experience, supplying a broad range of customers across the UK. With a strong order book, modern machinery, and a growing team, we are looking for a highly organised and proactive Warehouse / Stores Manager to oversee the modernisation of our in-house systems.

Role Overview

We are looking to overhaul our current systems to ensure a more efficient running of the stores and warehouse areas at Allbart. The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills, a hands-on approach, and experience working within a manufacturing or engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain an efficient and tidy warehouse and yard. Goods In - Oversee all deliveries, ensuring materials are checked, booked in, stored and labelled correctly. Unloading with forklift. Goods Out - Help coordinate despatch of finished goods to customers, ensuring correct packaging and labelling. Stock take of consumables and finished customer parts. Manage safe and organised storage of materials, including correct identification and labelling. Occasional help with covering delivery driving and other operations in the factory such and packing and assembly.

Skills & Experience Required

Previous experience in a warehouse, stores, or materials-control role (manufacturing preferred). Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail. Forklift licence preferred (or willingness to obtain). Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work proactively in a fast-paced production environment. Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on attitude.
