JOB TITLE: Warehouse Supervisor


LOCATION: Aylesford, Kent


WORKING HOURS: 7am - 4.30pm


A bit about the role..


We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Warehouse Supervisor to support our Production Manager and wider team with a mix of administrative, production, and supervisory tasks.


You'll assist with production schedules, maintain accurate system data, oversee quality control, and ensure health and safety standards are met. You'll also play a key role in team leadership when the manager is away, so strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on, organised approach are essential to keeping our warehouse running smoothly and efficiently.


RESPONSIBILITIES


Provide administrative support to the Production Manager and production team, including assisting with the production schedules, processing timesheets, and being readily available to assist as needed.
Confidently and proactively supervise production teams, stepping in to lead operations in the absence of the Production Manager.
Collaborate with the Production Manager to ensure all production tasks are completed on time and meet established deadlines.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date build times in the production system.
Oversee quality control throughout the entire production process, ensuring standards are met at every stage.
Apply strong analytical skills to identify and resolve production-related issues efficiently.
Monitor and assess the performance and efficiency of production equipment.
Assemble furniture, as well as fit additional component parts or adjust as needed.
Work effectively both independently under the guidance of the Production Manager and as a cohesive member of the wider production team.
Ensure strict adherence to all health and safety regulations and procedures.
Aim for zero errors across all areas of responsibility, promoting a culture of precision and excellence.
Maintain a clean, organised, and professional workshop environment--taking pride in its presentation at all times.
Inspect and quality-check incoming products for damage or defects before they enter the production workflow.


Requirements


Previous production experience is essential.
Comfortable with heavy lifting and you will carry out manual handling training as part of induction.
Confident in the use of power tools and equipment.
Must be passionate about the brand, be flexible and have a can-do attitude
Confident, approachable and happy to turn your hand to anything.
Hardworking, conscientious and take pride in your work
Happy to work to tight deadlines.
A high degree of self-motivation and drive
Reliable and punctual - a real team-player.
