We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee and coordinate the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring that goods are received, stored, picked, and dispatched accurately and efficiently. The Warehouse Supervisor leads the warehouse, enforces health and safety standards, and ensures inventory control and operational targets are met.
Duties
Supervise and support the smooth running of the warehouse by undertaking daily tasks including goods-in, picking, packing, stock control, and housekeeping.
Plan and delegate workloads to ensure timely completion of tasks and customer orders.
Ensure all incoming shipments are processed accurately and recorded in the system.
Monitor inventory levels and perform regular stock checks and cycle counts.
Enforce health and safety procedures, ensuring staff comply with site rules and use equipment safely.
Support training and development of warehouse operatives and new starters.
Identify and resolve operational issues or delays in dispatch due to stock issues.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation, and efficiency in the warehouse.
Communicate with internal teams (e.g. customer service, purchasing, dispatch) to coordinate activities and solve issues.
Assist with implementing continuous improvement initiatives in the warehouse.
Assist with goods out/ quality control on a need's basis
Essential:
Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics supervisory role min 2 years.
Strong organisational and leadership skills.
Hands-on experience with warehouse procedures, including picking, packing, receiving, and dispatch.
Knowledge of stock control and inventory management.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Good communication and problem-solving skills.
Basic IT skills - able to use warehouse systems and Microsoft Office.
Driving Licence (Full/Clean)
Desirable:
Forklift licence (Counterbalance or Reach).
Familiarity with lean or continuous improvement practices.
First Aid or Health & Safety training.
Working Hours:
Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:30pm (40 hours, 30 min unpaid break)
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 26,000.00-28,080.00 per year
