Petrel Limited, part of the Pioneer Safety Group, is seeking a proactive and experienced

Warehouse Supervisor

to join our Operations team in Birmingham. This is a hands-on role responsible for managing the day-to-day inbound and outbound logistics of our warehouse, ensuring operational excellence and supporting our assembly operations.

What You'll Do:

Oversee safe and efficient warehouse operations, including vehicle movements and equipment compliance. Maintain high housekeeping standards aligned with 5S principles. Manage inventory using the Syspro system, including goods receiving, pre-kitting, and dispatching. Conduct daily inventory audits and monitor stock levels, liaising with the purchasing team as needed. Ensure quality control of finished goods and accurate shipping documentation. Coordinate transport bookings and collaborate with Sales and Operations teams on logistics. Actively participate in production meetings and continuous improvement initiatives. Support the Operations Manager with inventory and delivery-related issues.

What We're Looking For:

Proven experience in a warehouse or stores supervisory role. Background in manufacturing or production environments. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Forklift license (Counterbalance minimum; MEWP preferred).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Additional Information

This role may involve manual handling and working in varying temperature conditions.
