Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor/Manager to oversee our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics and warehouse supervision, with a focus on process improvement and team management. This role is crucial for ensuring efficient materials handling, shipping and receiving processes, and maintaining a safe working environment.

Responsibilities

Manage daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to safety standards. Oversee the shipping and receiving of goods, ensuring accuracy in inventory management. Implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs. Supervise and train warehouse staff, fostering a collaborative team environment. Utilise a Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track inventory levels and manage stock movements effectively. Prepare bespoke customer kits to the customers or inhouse drawings. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the warehouse environment. Perform heavy lifting as required, ensuring proper techniques are used to maintain safety.

Requirements

Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar role. Strong knowledge of materials handling techniques and logistics operations. Familiarity with forklift operation and relevant certifications is preferred. Experience with warehouse management systems is advantageous. Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead staff effectively. Ability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods during shifts. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in managing inventory processes.
