Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our warehouse environment. Monday to Friday 08.00hr till 17.00hr shift pattern with your team, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient warehouse processes, managing a team, and maintaining high standards of safety and productivity. This role requires strong leadership skills and a thorough understanding of logistics, shipping, and receiving.

Duties

Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff to ensure optimal performance and adherence to company policies. Oversee shipping and receiving operations, ensuring accurate documentation and timely processing of goods. Implement and maintain effective business processes to enhance operational efficiency within the warehouse. Manage inventory control, including materials handling, stock rotation, and minimizing discrepancies. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety within the team. Conduct regular training sessions for staff on equipment operation, including forklift usage and heavy lifting techniques. Collaborate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to streamline operations and improve service delivery. Utilize AS400 systems for inventory management and reporting purposes.

Qualifications

Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar supervisory role. Strong knowledge of logistics, shipping, receiving, and materials handling practices. Familiarity with business processes relevant to warehouse operations. Experience in team management with excellent leadership capabilities. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work. Reach Truck License advantageous. WMS experience.
