Job Description

Our Warehouse Unit based in the main office in Orpington is the last link in the chain of our production facility ensuring that our customers campaign and event products are securely stored, managed and despatched on time in full and pristine condition. You will be responsible for packing, storing, collating and despatching all in-house produced items, helping other units to move things around and get Production Floor organised for an efficient work. As a result, this is a very busy and diverse department with logistical and collation requirements occurring everyday throughout the UK, Europe and the rest of the world.

The role of Associate Manager, Warehouse is to help and support Warehouse Manager

in organising and supervising the Warehouse team to ensure that all items of an event/campaign are suitably protected for the movement from our production facility to their end destination, correctly collated and shipped on the correct date and service. You are required to pack, collate, wrap, load/offload goods yourself together with overseeing other members of the department to ensure that all adhere to Health & Safety guidelines specifically around manual handling and operations of a forklift and processing all tasks according to the Account teams requests.

You will work closely with Account, Production and Logistics teams to ensure all projects are delivered and all requirements and needs of the clients are met and exceeded.

Working within this extremely busy and challenging department you will be tasked with:

oIn absence of Warehouse manager, manage and oversee the Unit and execute all required tasks.

oFollowing approved process of items packaging, labelling, collation, loading and off-loading.

oBooking all overnight deliveries (preparation of all requests and paperwork).

oOperating forklifts for load/offload and move pallets and goods across the floor and in the yard.

oEnsure that all department members are following all appropriate ways of working and procedures for each task and ensuring that quality processes are met and followed.

oLiaison with production and account teams to allow for timely availability of graphics for collation and despatch responding to specific logistics and collation requests or updates from the rest of the Wasserman Live business.

oManagement of the logistics floor area and outside yard space to ensure that it's a safe, clean tidy and workable environment.

oExcellent ability to project manage, problem solve and have fantastic organizational skills.

oEffective time management skills with the ability to work to multiple deadlines.

oAble to multi-task and prioritise (working across numerous activities at a time).

oStress resistance and ability to work under pressure.

oExperience managing a team, keeping others motivated, engaged and on task.

oGood computer skills, particularly with Excel and MS office suite.

oA stickler for processes, great attention to detail, to ensure right first time.

oYou will take pride in your work, remaining focused, calm and motivated.

oAble to report and provide precises information for management on request.

oHealth and Safety trained.

oForklift licence

Pay: From 32,000.00 per year
