Headlam, Europe's largest floor covering distributor, has an exciting opportunity for a Shift Manager to join an inclusive and welcoming team. This full-time role comes with a competitive salary and excellent benefits package.

Hours:

Monday - Friday 9am - 6pm

As a Warehouse Supervisor you will oversee the team, ensuring Warehouse Operatives are trained, supported and performing at their best at all times. You will be organised, hands-on and motivating, plan operations, delegate tasks and have excellent communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

Support the Warehouse Manager in the day to day running of the Warehouse?and ensuring KPIs are hit Reliable, adaptable team player who is customer-focused and approachable. You should be good at training new starters, managing KPIs, and handling difficult conversations. Ensure operational plans are delivered to meet set objectives Handle equipment reports, schedule resources and manage stock Ensure quality control, safety checks and compliance Lead by example demonstrating best practise to your team and direct reports To supervise operatives' health and safety performance and compliance To ensure adherence to all applicable safe systems of work and safe operating procedures Ensure safety of staff, equipment, and facilities, and promote a health and safety culture
