We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our warehouse. The ideal candidate will possess leadership skills and a thorough understanding of logistics, shipping and receiving, and materials handling. This role is crucial in ensuring that our warehouse operates efficiently and effectively while maintaining high standards of safety and productivity.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Manage a small team of warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and support to enhance performance. Oversee shipping and receiving operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing of orders. Monitor inventory levels and assist in stock management to optimise storage space. Communication with management and head office.

Requirements

Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory role or similar position. Familiarity with business processes related to warehousing operations. Capability to perform heavy lifting as required by the role. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with attention to detail. Be able to use a pallet truck.
