Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Team Leader to help oversee daily operations within our warehouse environment. They will report directly to the Warehouse Manager.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of warehouse management processes. This role is essential in ensuring efficient inventory management, logistics coordination, and team performance to meet our operational goals.

Duties

Supervise and lead warehouse staff, fostering a productive and positive work environment. Oversee inventory management processes, ensuring accurate tracking and control of stock levels. Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in warehouse distribution and operations. Coordinate shipping and receiving activities, ensuring timely processing of orders. Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to monitor workflow and manage inventory effectively. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and safety standards within the warehouse. Conduct regular training sessions for team members on materials handling and equipment operation, including forklift usage. Manage logistics related to e-commerce fulfillment, ensuring orders are processed accurately and efficiently. Perform heavy lifting as needed, assisting with the movement of products throughout the facility. Maintain mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues as they arise.

Qualifications

Experience in warehouse supervision is preferred. Strong knowledge of inventory control methods and logistics operations. Experience with shipping & receiving procedures in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in using warehouse management systems is advantageous. Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and guide staff effectively. Understanding of warehouse safety practices. Fork lift licence and Reach truck experience. Ability to perform heavy lifting and engage in physical activities as required by the job. Previous experience in e-commerce logistics is beneficial but not mandatory.
