The Cotswold Company is seeking a Warehouse Team Leader at its site in Lichfield, West Midlands, to support the Warehouse Supervisor & Operations Manager. Responsible for ensuring the safe, smooth and efficient daily management of the Warehouse Operation, you will be tasked with motivating and developing the teams reporting into them, and reduce errors and avoidable cost to the business.
Key Duties and responsibilities
Whilst a hands-on working role, provide first point of contact for Warehouse colleagues.
Proactive contribution to the daily management of core warehouse processes; ensuring all goods-in, goods-out, inventory replenishment and cycle count activity is carried out in a timely and accurate manner.
To provide effective support to the Warehouse Supervisor/Senior Supervisor/Manager to ensure constant improvement in all areas of the operation.
Ensure all site H&S and MHE checks are completed as required; raising any issues direct to the Warehouse Operations Manager/Health & Safety Officer as required.
Liaise with QC Team to effectively manage inventory accuracy and QC workload supply.
Preparation and participation in warehouse team meetings and planning groups as required.
Take an active role in Staff planning and managing resource.
Proactively reporting operational issues that may affect the operation.
To Deputise for the Warehouse Supervisor/Manager in their absence.

Good communicator who's able to positively engage with team members and relevant stakeholders.
Excellent motivation skills; able to identify and address staff issues and concerns.
Must be able to lead by example and champion the values of the Company.
Must have good attention to detail and a passion to reduce errors and improve efficiency.
Qualifications, skills & experience - essential:
Strong leadership skills
FLT experience
H&S awareness
Basic IT skills including MS Office
