Team Leader - Warehouse Operations


Location: Ardale House, Haydock Industrial Estate, Haydock, WA119WE

Working 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm rotating, Any 5 days from 7, full flexibility is required

Pay: 13.25 per hour & A Full contract with MCF, Hours: 37.5 Plus regular overtime

The Role

Reporting to the Warehouse Shift Manager, you'll lead a team of warehouse colleagues within your department, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and to a high standard. Your focus will be on delivering outstanding service while maintaining strong cost control and health & safety compliance.

You'll be a key link between departments, ensuring customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time. In the Shift Managers absence, you'll step up to ensure the smooth running of the shift and achievement of daily, weekly, and monthly targets.

Key Responsibilities

Support the Supervisor in the day-to-day management of warehouse operations Deliver clear shift briefings, debriefings, and handovers Monitor performance against plan and drive high standards Liaise with Operations Support to ensure optimal task sequencing Ensure all warehouse tasks are completed accurately and on time Communicate team and individual performance using available tools Collaborate with other departments to uphold excellent customer service Enforce Health & Safety procedures at all times Maintain high standards of housekeeping and site safety Act as key holder and deputise for the Supervisor when required
Performance Expectations, you'll play a vital role in achieving and maintaining our warehouse KPIs and full training will be provided.
