We are currently recruiting for a

Warehouse Team Manager

to support the operation within our Warehouse Team at our site in Lichfield. This is a chance to be part of a fast paced and challenging area of work to assist the Lead Team Manager in maintaining performance of the warehouse operations.

This is a full time, permanent position, predominately working on a rotating day shift pattern, covering the hours of 06:00 to 14:00and 14:00 to 22:00. However, we do ask for some flexibility, this is logistics after all.

You'll be paid a salary of up to

32,000.00

and receive 33 annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays). What you'll do on a typical day:

Be Responsible for Health & Safety and the Environment during shift whilst ensuring Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) Ensure co-ordination and handover management between shifts as well as resource availability and skilled trained resource Translate, analyse and deliver customer needs as well as deliver consistent service levels to exceed customer expectations Carry out effective leadership, management and communication with all warehouse departments Be responsible for ensuring high levels of excellence in culture and behaviours, treating employees with respect and promoting diversity, whilst supporting colleagues through excellent communication and active leadership Recognise and proactively manage continuous improvement initiatives and ensure all internal/ external KPIs are achieved and reviewed regularly

What you need to succeed at GXO:

Operational Experience, with knowledge of Health & Safety requirements Excellent organisation/ time management, interpersonal, leadership, motivation and planning skills People Management including experience of disciplinary investigations and other people processes Excellent communicator (verbal & written) and able to interact at all levels and able work within a team Ability to work without direct supervision Use of Microsoft Packages including Excel and Word with good analytical and numerical skills
