Job Summary

The successful applicant will join our team in a busy, well-established bathroom and tile showroom based in Castleford.
Applicants

must

have a minimum of

2 years' warehouse experience

and hold a

full driving licence for at least 5 years

.

Responsibilities

Manage stock levels using warehouse management systems (Training Provided) Handle materials including loading, unloading, picking, and packing orders Maintain organisation of stock within the warehouse, ensuring accurate inventory records Assist with shipping and receiving processes to ensure timely dispatch and receipt of goods Perform mechanical tasks related to warehouse equipment maintenance and troubleshooting Ensure health and safety standards are adhered to at all times during all operations Drive company vehicles for deliveries, adhering to traffic regulations and safety protocols Assist in organising warehouse layout for optimal workflow efficiency

Experience

Proven experience in warehouse management or logistics roles Familiarity with forklift operation and maintenance is an advantage Experience with computer software such as word, excel (Traing will be given on our software used) Knowledge of materials handling, stock control, and shipping & receiving procedures Mechanical knowledge related to warehouse equipment is advantageous Previous experience in construction or heavy lifting tasks is desirable Demonstrated ability to perform physically demanding tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged standing Valid driving licence with a clean driving record is required
