Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Worker to join our dynamic logistics team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of warehouse activities, including materials handling, stock management, and shipping and receiving processes. Duties

Handling materials efficiently, including loading and unloading goods using appropriate equipment such as forklifts Managing stock levels through accurate picking and packing of orders Operating warehouse management systems to track inventory movements and update records Assisting with shipping and receiving tasks to ensure timely dispatch and receipt of goods Stocking shelves and organising storage areas for optimal accessibility and safety Conducting quality control checks to maintain high standards of product integrity Applying mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance and troubleshooting when necessary Ensuring health and safety protocols are followed during all warehouse activities

Requirements

Proven experience in a warehouse environment, including materials handling and stock management Ability to operate forklift trucks safely; relevant certification is preferred but not essential as training can be provided Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or similar software applications Physical capability to perform heavy lifting and load/unload items safely and efficiently Mechanical aptitude or knowledge beneficial for equipment maintenance tasks Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in picking, packing, and inventory control Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures, including documentation requirements Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities within the warehouse setting
