Job Summary


We are seeking a proactive and dedicated Warehouse Associate to join our team specialising in the sale and distribution of premium porcelain tile, composite decking, and composite cladding products. This position combines customer-facing sales responsibilities with warehouse duties, ensuring that clients receive top-quality service from product inquiries through to order fulfillment. The ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, and able to manage multiple tasks with a high degree of efficiency and accuracy.

Responsibilities:



-Customer Support:

Engage with customers in person, over the phone, and via email to understand their needs, answer product questions, and provide recommendations on porcelain tiles, composite decking, and cladding.

Product Knowledge:

Maintain a deep understanding of the products, including specifications, benefits, applications, and installation processes. Stay updated on product offerings and industry trends.

-Sales Execution:

Guide customers through the purchase process, from initial interest to final sale, ensuring an excellent customer experience. Prepare and send quotes, follow up on leads, and close sales effectively.

-Order Processing:

Accurately enter sales orders into the system and coordinate with the warehouse team for order fulfilment. Track orders to ensure timely delivery and maintain communication with clients regarding any updates or issues.

-Purchase Processing:

Responsibility to communicate with suppliers on stock orders. Purchasing of stock from suppliers to maintain stock levels. Future planning of stock to ensure orders can be fulfilled.

-Showroom Maintenance:

Ensure that showroom displays are organized, clean, and well-stocked with samples and promotional materials. Assist in setting up product demonstrations or promotional events as needed.

-Inventory Management:

Assist in managing inventory levels, conducting regular stock checks, and maintaining accurate records. Report stock shortages or discrepancies and help manage reorders.

-Order Fulfilment:

Pick, pack, and prepare products for shipping, ensuring accuracy and quality in every order. Coordinate with shipping and delivery teams to meet customer timelines.

-Receiving and Stocking:

Receive incoming shipments, verify products against invoices, and properly store materials in designated areas within the warehouse.

-Safety and Maintenance:

Ensure a safe and organized warehouse environment by adhering to safety standards and conducting routine cleaning and equipment maintenance.

Requirements



Previous experience in the order fulfilment Ability to lift heavy items (up to 25 kg) and perform physical tasks throughout the shift. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills. Basic numeracy and literacy skills for accurate order processing. Willingness to learn new skills and operate machinery safely. Have a good understanding in operating social media platforms
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.21-12.75 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
