Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Worker/Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts to move, locate, and relocate materials within the warehouse. This role requires a keen understanding of warehouse operations and safety protocols, as well as the ability to perform heavy lifting and equipment maintenance.

Warehouse Worker/Forklift Driver

Main responsibilities:

Completing pre-operation checks on machinery for any defects/issues, logging and notifying management of any concerns.

Safe operation through the warehouse, being aware of safe loading practices, team safety on site and operating with caution around racking structures and other machinery on site.

Operating the forklift to transport parts throughout the warehouse, including loading and offloading parts.

Receiving, offloading and checking incoming deliveries.

Picking and Packing orders for dispatch.

Checking products for visual and physical defects or damage.

Participation in stock counts.

Keeping the work area clean and tidy.

Maintaining a safe working environment.

Other ad hoc tasks as requested by your Line Manager.

Essential Criteria:

Forklift Licence

Full UK driving licence.

Good written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work to deadlines.

Willingness to work hard as part of a team.

Ability to manage and coordinate changing priorities.

Ability to adapt to new systems, and a positive "can-do" attitude.

Strong attention to detail and ensuring accuracy.

Ability to work overtime as and when required.
