Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and proactive Warehouse/Driver's Mate to join our team. The successful candidate will assist with the safe and efficient loading, unloading, and transportation of goods, ensuring all operations adhere to safety standards and company procedures. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen interest in warehouse management/delivery of goods handling to develop their skills and gaining future qualifications in this field.

Duties

Assist the driver with loading and unloading goods using appropriate equipment such as forklifts Support in stock management. Handle materials safely, including heavy lifting where necessary, following health and safety guidelines Assisting driver with local delivery of goods ie. gas bottles. Ensure all activities comply with safety protocols and company policies

Experience

Previous warehouse experience is desirable but not essential; training will be provided. Familiarity with forklift operation is advantageous; relevant certifications are preferred but not mandatory. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently over extended periods Proven ability to work effectively within a team in a fast-paced environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.21-15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
