Summary

Due to continued growth, Swift Shift Removals are currently seeking applications for the role of Warehouse Operative. This role is crucial to our operations, ensuring that our removal and storage services run smoothly and efficiently. The successful candidate will assist the Warehouse Manager in the running and organising of our storage facilities, and will require a valid forklift license. Although the role will be based from our Head Office in Antrim, it will also involve working at some of our other storage locations around Northern Ireland, so a full UK driving license is essential. Opportunities for overtime and weekend work also available.

Responsibilities

Operate forklifts for moving heavy items within the warehouse. Load and unload goods from vehicles safely and efficiently. Handle materials with care to prevent damage during transport. Locating and retrieving containers from the warehouse for delivery out of store Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety. Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals. Perform basic maintenance on equipment when necessary.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a warehouse setting or similar role. Full UK Driving License Strong knowledge of materials handling techniques. Valid forklift certification is preferred. Ability to lift heavy objects safely and effectively. Mechanical knowledge is a plus but not required. Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
