Purpose of the Role

Join our dynamic team as a

Bike Technician

, where your expertise will ensure every bike we service or assemble meets the highest standards of quality, safety, and performance. Working alongside skilled mechanics and technicians, you'll be instrumental in delivering exceptional craftsmanship and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Warranty Claims Management

Process warranty claims from customers, dealers, and retailers with accuracy and efficiency. Ensure all documentation is complete and submitted within required timeframes.

Technical Diagnostics

Perform detailed inspections and diagnostics to assess warranty eligibility. Identify mechanical issues covered under warranty provisions.

Repairs & Servicing

Carry out repairs and maintenance on bicycles under warranty, adhering to manufacturer specifications and internal quality standards.

Parts Coordination

Source and replace faulty components, liaising with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure timely delivery and installation.

Customer & Team Communication

Provide clear, professional updates to customers, dealers, and internal teams regarding claim status and repair timelines.

Record Keeping & Systems Use

Maintain accurate records of claims, repairs, inventory, and communications using designated software tools.

Quality Control

Conduct post-repair inspections to verify workmanship and ensure all bicycles meet company standards before release.

Process Improvement

Identify areas for improvement and contribute to refining warranty service procedures and best practices.

Health & Safety Compliance

Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized workspace. Use provided tools and equipment in line with Health and Safety regulations.

Skills/Experiences & Qualifications Requirements:

Strong understanding of bike components, systems and repair techniques. Cytech Level 2 Trained (preferable) Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Exceptional organisational and time management skills. A proactive and solution driven approach.
