THE ROLE

As our Waste Sorter / Ad-Hoc Van Driver, you'll be a key part of our day-to-day operations. This is a hands-on, physical role for someone who enjoys being active and working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Your responsibilities will include:

Sorting and separating different waste streams Palletising waste for storage and transport Helping unload bagged and boxed waste from vans Keeping the yard and communal areas clean, tidy, and safe Organising and managing stock Washing and maintaining bins Covering waste collection rounds in a 3.5T van when needed

Pay & Benefits

Standard rate: 13 per hour. Opportunities for training and progression within waste and transport operations. Full training provided on company procedures, health & safety, and compliance standards. Monday to Friday 9 hour shift with 30 mins for lunch
This role is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to build a career in the waste industry, combining manual waste handling with machinery operation, compliance, and operational reporting

We deal lots of waste streams which includes healthcare waste ie boxed sharps bins and smelly bags from healthcare settings, are you ok handling this type of waste with ppe in accordance to health and saftey guidelines?
